Founding Agentic AI Architect (Equity-Only)

The Mission:

At Vaxx Research, we are building Project Bio-CMM: a deep-tech initiative that replaces environmentally destructive hard-rock mining with autonomous, AI-driven microbial swarms to extract battery-grade lithium directly from underground brines. We have the chemical engineering and the computational biophysics locked down. Now, we need the brain.

The Role:

We are looking for a Lead Agentic AI Architect (Founding Engineer / Fractional CTO) to build "OpenClaw"—the multi-agent AI framework that will govern our biological extraction swarms and process digital twins.

What you will build:

Agentic Orchestration:

Design and deploy a Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL) environment where autonomous AI agents monitor, adjust, and optimize continuous extraction processes in real-time.

The Digital Twin:

Connect our agentic framework to thermodynamic process simulators (like Aspen HYSYS) to create a Level 3 Digital Twin of our surface-level biorefineries.

Cloud Architecture:

Lead the deployment of our models utilizing startup compute credits to transition our architecture from TRL 2 (concept) to physical proof-of-concept (TRL 3).

Who you are:

• You live and breathe LLM orchestration (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom frameworks).
• You have deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, and reinforcement learning.
• You are a zero-to-one builder who thrives in the "Cold Start" phase of deep tech.
• You want to apply AI to the physical world to solve the critical energy transition bottleneck.

The Reality & The Offer:

Transparency is our baseline. Vaxx Research is currently an unfunded, TRL 2 deep-tech startup. There is no cash salary or wage currently offered for this position. In exchange for taking on this early-stage risk, we are offering highly competitive, founding-level equity (structured for either a Fractional or Full-Time Co-Founder split depending on your bandwidth). You will be joining a world-class team featuring deep domain expertise in industrial lithium mining and computational modeling, anchored in the energy transition ecosystem.
