Lead AI Data Scientist

As an AI and ML Strategy Developer, your role will involve developing and implementing AI and ML strategies that are aligned with business objectives. You will be responsible for constructively challenging other data scientists on their approach and providing expertise in leading AI platforms, frameworks, and libraries. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance machine learning capabilities. - Leading the delivery of AI solutions by partnering with business stakeholders to deliver value-added insights and intelligent solutions through ML and AI. - Collaborating with ML engineers and systems engineers to ensure models are deployed in a scaled and optimized manner. - Overseeing the entire development lifecycle of AI solutions, including MLOps practices, to ensure high-quality and scalable deliverables. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing products or processes. - Leading explorations for AI techniques, platforms, and tools. - Mentoring and developing a team of 4-5 data scientists. - Guiding project prioritization and resource allocation. - Providing AI literacy and mentorship to the broader organization by educating stakeholders on AI practices.

Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in Tier 1 companies or 8+ years of experience providing data science solutions with a total of 12+ years of industry experience. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics from a Tier 1 institute. - Proven skills in leading implementations of AI solutions. - Experience in managing teams and providing technical mentorship. - Familiarity with technical concepts such as MLOps, containerization, data lineage, and visualization. - Experience with Agile development methodology, featuring sprints, point estimation, and daily stand-ups. - Strong knowledge of AI solutions architecture, supervised ML algorithms, optimization, and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI, BQ, Composer, and Cloud Storage; openness to other cloud experience like Azure or AWS. - Expertise in CPG domain, either on the commercial or supply chain side. - Proficiency in Python and SQL. - Publications or contributions to the data science and AI community. - Certifications in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
