Senior Software Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to conceptualize and design scalable, high-performance software solutions that align with our "Engineering First" philosophy and long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will lead technology initiatives, enforce security and compliance standards, and provide mentorship to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design software solutions that are scalable and high-performing.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of modern technology stacks, with a focus on AWS Cloud services, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Enforce "Level 3" security standards and data privacy protocols to ensure compliance with banking regulations and SOC 2.
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to enhance automation and reduce technical debt.
• Provide technical mentorship and conduct code reviews for cross-functional engineering teams.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between executive leadership and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.

Mandatory Skills

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Proven expertise in microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of security standards and compliance, particularly in banking and SOC 2.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in software architecture and design.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
