Your Mission

• You conceptualize, develop, and are responsible for complex cloud-native software solutions based on current technologies and frameworks, also recognizing and considering potentials for the use of AI/GenAI. You combine software architecture with a stable platform.
• You advise clients on the introduction of cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, based on customer-specific requirements.
• You advise clients on the architecture, design, and implementation of their applications.
• You conceptualize and develop complex cloud-native solutions with regard to reliability, security, performance, and costs (e.g., with Spring Boot, Quarkus, Kafka, Kubernetes).
• You specifically use cloud services (such as AKS, Azure Functions or Event Hubs) and integrate them cleanly into your architecture.
• You are responsible for the technical leadership of international cloud engineering teams and/or development teams in the context of customer projects.
• You support PreSales as well as sales activities in the cloud-native area.
• You conduct feasibility studies and innovation projects and drive the further development of our service portfolio.
• You work closely with other national and international teams of NTT DATA.

Your Skillset

• You are strong in software solutions and understand the platform behind them.
• You have several years of experience in the development of modern software (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus).
• You design and build microservices architectures in the cloud.
• You have extensive knowledge in the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, which you have proven in hands-on projects.
• You have several years of experience in the productive use of container platforms and serverless technologies (e.g., AKS, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs etc.).
• You have comprehensive knowledge in the introduction of cloud-native tools for Continuous Integration & Delivery, Observability, and Security (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana or Trivy).
• Ideally, you have a cloud certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• You have experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching of teams.
• Through your practical experience and high methodological competence in the development of IT architectures, you present professionally to decision-makers and larger audiences when presenting experiences and recommendations.
• You have knowledge of current technology trends and an understanding of upcoming developments in the cloud area.
• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification, and pronounced communication skills as well as very good German and English language skills.
