Position Summary

As the Lead Customer Solutions Engineer, you will harness your creativity, curiosity, and passion to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Your role will involve:

  • Designing innovative services for seamless post‑sales deployment of Rocket products.
  • Resolving genuine challenges and providing tangible value to our customers and partners daily.
  • Ensuring quick, precise, high‑quality, and innovative delivery of services.
  • Upholding our promises to customers, partners, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and PreSales teams to create implementation service architectures, develop detailed estimates with subject matter experts, and formulate comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), including rate negotiations.
  • Engage with partners to craft solutions while managing partner qualifications, pricing, and positioning.
  • Work cross‑functionally to ensure solutions comply with operational standards and processes.
  • Develop competitive takeout solutions by mapping Rocket products to competitor offerings; lead initiatives to propose cohesive solutions for competitive takeout deals.
  • Refine established solution delivery methods to foster continuous improvement.
  • Establish yourself as a product expert across various audience levels.
  • Utilize Rocket subject matter experts to devise effective and innovative solutions for customers.
  • Respond to objections professionally; provide quick, coherent answers; navigate challenges assertively.
  • Understand customer business and spot opportunities for added value through Rocket solutions.
  • Guide clients in best practices for configuring and utilizing Rocket products, providing training where necessary.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership to guide teams on moderately complex engagements.
  • Contribute your expertise during pre‑sales activities, including discovery, scoping, and proposal development.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, including roles in Solutioning, Professional Services, or Presales.
  • 5+ years in consulting or team leadership.
  • 2+ years in customer‑facing roles.
  • 2+ years in project management.
  • 2+ years in development, business analysis, or requirements gathering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and adapt to different time zones.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Skill in synthesizing diverse inputs to provide clarity and direction.
  • Experience in relationship management.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in partner and sales engagement.
  • A broad understanding of technology, including:
    • Legacy platform and mainframe computing.
    • Distributed operating systems.
    • Database knowledge and concepts.
    • Web technologies.
    • Cloud services including AWS and Azure.
    • Familiarity with data modernization use cases or technologies.

Salary Range

$114,500.00 – $154,575.00 gross before taxes.
