Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage research projects focused on machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI domains. Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems. Design and execute rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the performance of AI models. Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform research direction. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and domain experts to achieve research objectives. Mentor junior data scientists and research assistants, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of learning. Stay abreast of the latest research trends and advancements in AI and machine learning. Author and present research papers at leading scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new AI applications. Contribute to grant writing and securing research funding. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with a strong focus on AI/Machine Learning. 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in AI/ML. Proven track record of conducting independent research and publishing in top venues. Expertise in one or more core AI subfields (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and extensive experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data analysis techniques. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing research projects. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with necessary in-office collaboration.
