Job Overview
Provide services and support as a Lead Data Scientist (Predictive Analytics) – Data Management & Business Intelligence – Predictive Workforce Analytics for Government and Public Services clients such as the National Science Foundation (NSF). The role focuses on Human Capital solutions, delivering innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation, enhancing data‑driven decision‑making, supporting regulatory compliance, facilitating IT system integration, and optimizing service delivery.
Key activities include:
- Implementing and maintaining workforce analytics dashboards and predictive models using agency‑standard platforms (e.g., Oracle Analytics Server, Power BI, Tableau) and machine‑learning tools.
- Developing advanced analytic models, workforce insights, and decision‑support products.
- Supporting predictive analysis, KPI design, and executive reporting using governed data and modern analytics tools.
- Driving predictions, leading model development, and enabling forecasting for workforce planning.
Location: Hybrid (Alexandria, VA and across the Mid‑Atlantic Region).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation.
- Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.
- Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
- Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
- Implement and maintain workforce analytics dashboards and predictive models on platforms such as Oracle Analytics Server, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Develop predictive models and forecasting for workforce planning.
- Provide senior‑level leadership/architectural guidance with enterprise influence and independent judgment.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of data science experience, preferably with Government and Public Services sector exposure.
