About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our machine learning initiatives, from conceptualization to deployment. You will lead a team of talented engineers, mentor them, and contribute to the strategic direction of our ML efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into ML solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI.
• Contribute to the overall ML strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
• Proven experience in leading ML projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
