Lead Network Engineer

We are a growing technology company seeking a Lead Network Engineer to join our team in Edmonton. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain network documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network performance and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Proven experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Experience with network security principles and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
