Why This Role Is Important To Us

The Value Stream Solution Architectis a senior, clientfacing market specialist with a deep understanding ofSimCorp'starget industries, their endtoend value chain, and key pain points. The role is accountable for shaping, governing, and driving adoption ofSimCorpOne (SC One) Standards across the full FronttoBack (F2B) investment lifecycle-assertively guiding clients toward standardfirst, upgradeable, and evergreen outcomes spanning Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Data, and Reporting. Partnering with Sales and delivery leadership, the architect owns endtoendSolutioning, leads FittoStandard workshops, articulates tradeoffs (scope, timeline, run costs), and ensures customization is introduced only when truly justified. Theymaintainoverall solution integrity by integrating domain designs into a coherent architecture that embeds servicemanagement processes, tooling, compliance, security, and operational readiness from day one-while feeding recurring gaps and integration pain points back into Standards Governance and Product Management to continuously strengthen theSimCorpOne standard.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Core Responsibilities

  • Definition of theSimCorpOne Standards: Drive the endtoend definition and integrity of SC One Standards, ensuring consistency across the Standard Scope Document and all governing internal assets (single sourceof truth). Lead executivelevel standards positioning (instandard vs. exceptions) and govern variances via fit assessments, variance logs, and escalation through agreed Standards governance.
  • Project scoping & FittoStandard: Be accountable for the overallend-to-endsolution for clients (across Standard andCustom).Act as the primary sparring partner to Commercial; support the delta assessment and drive disciplined, standardsled scoping with managementlevel client stakeholders. Oversee FittoStandard workshops and steer decisions toward standardfirst endtoend outcomes, clearly articulating tradeoffs and commercial implications (scope, timeline, and run costs).
  • Design servicesenabled solutions: Design servicesenabled solutions aligned to client outcomes while protecting standard integrity and upgradeabilityacrosstheend to endsolution,ensureservicemanagement processes, tooling, compliance, and security are embedded in design and delivery guardrails.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Translate client and internal business requirements into standardized business processes and measurable endtoend outcomes; partner with other Architects, Standards Guilds, and Client Operations to embed standards and approved variances into Compass delivery plans, acceptance criteria, and BAU transition.
  • Leadership and governance: Provide senior leadership across Product/Delivery and Value Streams to drive solution strategy, roadmap input, and the operating modelrequiredto scale standardsbased delivery. Act as the bridge betweenstandardsgovernance and execution, ensuring client feedback is converted into actionable standards improvements with clear decisions to closure.
  • Protect solution integrity during delivery: Coordinate across valuestream and consulting teams, run design governance forums, and intervene when crossdomain conflicts or custom extensions threaten upgradeability or operability.
  • Embed service readiness into the architecture: Ensure operational processes, support model, SaaS constraints,securityand controls are built into the solution so it is sustainable in Run, not just functional at golive.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the standard: Capture recurring gaps andintegrationpain points from implementations and feed them into Standards Governance and Product Management for systematic remediation.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Design serviceenabled endtoend solutions that account for operational processes, SaaS constraints, and security, ensuring the delivered solution is not only functional but also supportable andupgradeable as a whole.
  • Oversee release and quality enablement through thereleasepipeline, ensuring architecture decisions and scope are compatible with the standardized release process, integrated test framework, and quality gatesrequiredto keep the solution upgradeable.
  • Lead delivery architecture oversight, coordinating across value teams and consulting teams, running design governance meetings, and intervening when crossdomain conflicts or proposed custom extensions jeopardize alignment or upgradeability.
  • Operate in Azure DevOps as the system of record for delivery,maintainingarchitectural epics/features, linking decisions/variances to backlog items, and aligning crossteam work to the agreed endtoend architecture and standards outcomes.
  • Translate implementation learnings into standard evolution, capturing recurring crossmodule gaps and integration pain points and driving them back intostandardsgovernance and Product Management to strengthen theSimCorpOne standard over time.

Ways of Working

  • Coordinate with the Value Stream Management Office(VMO)to ensure that solution architecture aligns with standard governance processes and ways of working.

What We Value

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture / enterprise architecture / senior implementation architecture, owning crossdomain (fronttoback) designs in complex enterprise platforms.
  • Prior clientfacing experience in business consulting and/andor SME roles, leading fronttoback solutiondiscussionsand executive stakeholder alignment in complex asset management environments.
  • Functional knowledge ofSimCorpDimension
  • Working knowledge of SaaS delivery constraints and operating models, and comfort using Azure DevOps to manage and trace architectural scope (epics/features) and decisions todeliveryoutcomes.
  • Willingness to travel asrequired.
  • Ability to work in the office 2-3 days a week per our hybrid policy.

Salary Information

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is$180,000.00 - $260,000.00 CAD Annual. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience,skillsand qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, timeoffand Group RRSP/TFSA.

For New York only: The salary range for this position is $244,800 - $367,200 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
