This is a leadership position managing the design function for web and mobile platforms along with merchant tools and internal systems. This is a strategic opening for someone who champions the use of AI to refine design workflows and increase efficiency. You will guide a team of designers while ensuring that every digital product meets a high standard of usability and brand alignment. • *Discover the responsibilities** • Shape the entire user journey from initial product discovery to final purchase • Manage a group of designers while overseeing their professional development and growth • Build and scale a robust design system to ensure parity across all digital platforms, while integrating AI & automation • Implement modern AI tools into the daily workflow to speed up prototyping and research synthesis • Work alongside product managers and engineers to align design goals with broader business growth • Direct the visual strategy for merchant facing applications and internal operation dashboards • Utilise data insights and user feedback to remove friction from the shopping experience • *Discover the requirements** • Extensive experience in product design with a strong focus on mobile and web platforms • Prior success in a design leadership capacity where you have led design direction, ideally with a bit of team leadership experience too • A background in digital retail or large scale marketplace environments • Proven experience of building & scaling a design system that includes both automation and AI • A forward thinking mindset regarding the use of AI in design process & workflow • Ability to oversee complex projects from the initial strategy through to the final launch • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
