Lead Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Security Engineer to join our growing team in Philadelphia. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our organization's security strategy, protecting our assets, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and controls.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Respond to and manage security incidents.
• Mentor and guide junior security engineers.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all systems and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in information security.
• Proven experience in leading security projects or teams.
• Deep understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
