Lead Systems Engineer

Your Mission

• You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and operational support of cloud platforms based on OpenStack, actively contributing to high-performance Linux architectures.
• You will continuously develop our platforms, focusing on modern open-source technologies and future-proof architectures.
• You will take on the technical management of our operations teams and ensure stable and smooth operations.
• You will ensure the security and integrity of our platforms and work closely with internal teams and customers.
• Furthermore, you will actively contribute your ideas and help optimize and further develop our solutions.

Your Skills?

• Completed studies in IT or a comparable vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatik Systemintegration) or many years of relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in Linux and open-source technologies, ideally with a focus on Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of OpenStack and Kubernetes, as well as sound knowledge of virtualization, network, and data center technologies.
• Experience in operating complex IT infrastructures and cloud platforms.
• Personally, you convince with your hands-on mentality and your assertiveness.
