Reporting to the Sr. Manager Manufacturing Operations & Compliance, the Lean & Operational Excellence Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall operational performance and quality of the organization.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing teams and various departments to identify process improvement opportunities, deploy Lean methodologies, and promote a culture of innovation aligned with the mission of Sandoz Biologics France.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to formulate data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and achieve measurable results.
  • Lead the Manufacturing department's improvement initiative portfolio: prioritization, monitoring, implementation of performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting to management.
  • Deploy Lean & Six Sigma standards and tools, and train teams on their use.
  • Lead improvement projects as Project Lead.
  • Structure and support investigations related to deviations, ensuring a methodical approach to identify root and contributing causes, and define effective CAPAs.

Who you are

  • You have experience in continuous improvement project management, ideally in operational excellence within a biotechnology, GMP, or healthcare environment.
  • Recognized for your leadership and teamwork, you know how to work cross-functionally, unite stakeholders, and thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Analytical, structured, and autonomous, you demonstrate adaptability.
  • A graduate of an engineering school or equivalent (Bac+5) in biotechnology, biology, or chemistry, you are Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified (Black Belt is a plus).
  • You are proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet…) and fluent in English.
