Introduction
The Sponsor’s office leads an effort to bring its enterprise services into compliance with Federal data standards and formats. The Sponsor is seeking analytical support to review, compare, and make recommendations for actions (data cleansing and transformation), as well as support data migration planning and coordination efforts. The Sponsor also seeks to build a skills inventory, which will eventually integrate with other Sponsor’s systems, capturing both position skill requirements and competency levels, as well as personnel skill and competencies. The Sponsor's project manager will manage priorities.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience
- Designing, creating tables, views, relationships, and scripting (SQL) with database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, and/or structured and unstructured data)
- Implementing and using extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools
- Implementing, using, and creating Data Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) or data services
- Python, Java, and Scala programming languages
- Implementing, using, and creating data visualizations
- Implementing, using, or creating ML/AI software, tools, and services
- Using or creating Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based analytic tools and services
- Using and implementing Apache Hadoop
Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience
- Using and creating Tableau visualizations
- Using and creating workspaces in Bluescape
- Working with data services in the Sponsor’s cloud environment
- Experience with the Sponsor’s HR data and database environment
- Using SharePoint, and adding and integrating content
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology
US Citizenship
- This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.
Security Clearance
- Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
- Clearance verification required prior to an offer of employment.
Travel
- Position is expected to be onsite within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
- Local travel/POV as needed within the local place of performance.
