What you'll do as a Machine Learning Engineer?

• You develop and maintain various models for optimal use of our battery. Think about predicting different energy markets, optimally predicting customer consumption and generation, and predicting battery performance.
• You are constantly looking for the right solution using Machine Learning, AI, data or heuristics to add the most value to our products.
• You maintain these models and expand them based on market developments and feedback from colleagues and customers.
• You ensure that the data from these models feed our algorithm so that the battery is optimally deployed.
• Together with our software engineers, you devise new ways to adapt the battery control to changing market conditions and customer profiles.
• Together with our software engineers, you work on improving our system, for example through predictive maintenance and error analysis based on internal data.

Who are you as a Machine Learning Engineer?

• You have a completed HBO or WO education in Data Science/AI, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• You have a background in and experience with machine learning and data science.
• You have knowledge of the energy market or are willing to acquire it quickly.
• You have experience programming in Python and experience with Machine Learning tools such as Tensorflow.
• You have experience with Javascript or are willing to learn it quickly.
• You have knowledge of MLOps for version control, testing and deploying Machine Learning models.
• Drive and passion? You have that. Of course, you are happy when you have the weekend, but you are just as happy when you can go back to work on Monday morning.
• You value quality, just like us. You want to finish something beautiful completely and ensure a perfect finish. The bar is set high and that is the greatest challenge for you.
