Our client, an established insurance company based in Winterthur, is looking for an experienced personality in Software Engineering with a focus on Python, Generative AI, and Machine Learning. In this role, you will develop and operate modern AI/ML solutions in the cloud, actively shape technical architectures, and drive the further development of data-driven products with sustainable business added value.

Responsibilities

• Development and operationalization of data and machine learning pipelines on our cloud platform as well as integration of the solutions into our existing IT landscape
• Contribution of machine learning expertise in the development of technical solution designs for model training, testing, inference, and monitoring
• Conducting pair programming and code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the entire codebase
• Ongoing documentation of the developed solutions and work results

Qualifications

• Excellent programming skills in Python and at least three years of project experience with various state-of-the-art technologies from the ML/Data Science environment
• Sound understanding of the principles of modern software development, especially Clean Code and Software Architecture
• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure – ideally Google Cloud, Docker, and Terraform – as well as with technologies for implementing data and MLOps pipelines (e.g., DBT, Dataflow, Kedro, MLflow, Vertex AI)
• Motivation and interest in familiarizing yourself with business processes and developing sustainable technical solutions
• Fluent German and English skills (at least level C1)
