Manager of Data Engineering

In the role of Manager of Data Engineering, you'll lead a team of engineers dedicated to maintaining data platforms essential for analytical insights. You will be responsible for the ongoing operational integrity of data lakes, managing feature prioritization based on user needs, and applying agile delivery practices for efficient sprint cycles. Your leadership will drive both technical and professional growth within your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 5-6 engineers in daily operations and projects
• Maintain high uptime for data lake infrastructure
• Facilitate agile delivery and planning processes
• Capture customer feedback to shape the platform
• Develop and execute strategic technical roadmaps

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in data infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Expertise in AWS, Airflow, and Kafka
• Strong skills in requirements analysis and agile methodology
• Status authorized for work in Canada with U.S. travel capability
