Position Summary
The individual in this role will lead the strategy, delivery, and operational performance of Windchill-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform operations supporting MedTech. This role is accountable for ensuring the platform is scalable and reliable while driving continuous improvement and measurable business outcomes.
The position provides managerial oversight and governance for end-to-end implementation and operation of the Windchill platform, including solution architecture alignment, system configuration standards, deployment readiness, and production support for multi-node environments. This role partners with Quality, Validation, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure the platform operating model, controls, and documentation meet regulatory and audit expectations.
The role includes defining and advancing platform strategy and multi-year roadmaps, prioritizing investments across reliability, scalability, user experience, and compliance. The role leads and develops a team of engineers and/or managed service partners, establishes standards and ways of working (including SAFe Agile delivery), and drives automation, standardization, observability, and operational maturity through cloud-native services and enterprise monitoring tools. This position influences and aligns senior stakeholders across OpCos and functions, ensures delivery commitments are met, and is accountable for risk management, vendor performance, and overall service health.
Major Duties & Responsibilities

- Own platform financial management, including forecasting, budget stewardship, license and hosting cost optimization, and KPI-driven governance of consumption and spend
- Manage vendors and service partners to defined SLAs, delivery outcomes, and compliance requirements; ensure contracts, escalation paths, and performance reviews are in place
- Lead planning and execution within the Agile delivery model (e.g., SAFe), including intake, prioritization, capacity planning, dependency management, and delivery governance across teams
- Build team capability through coaching, training plans, and communities of practice; establish engineering standards for SDLC, DevOps, deployment, and migration execution
