UAT Tester With SQL

SQL Expertise

• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Experience performing data validation, data transformation testing, and data profiling.
• Proven ability to assess and ensure data quality across large datasets.

AWS Cloud Testing Experience

Hands-on experience validating data pipelines and workflows built on AWS, specifically in:

• Database Services: Redshift, RDS (Oracle, Aurora, PostgreSQL)
• Storage & Processing: S3, Glue, EMR
• Compute & Integration: Lambda, ECS, EC2
• Messaging & Monitoring: SQS, SNS, CloudWatch

Candidates must be capable of testing end-to-end cloud-native data flows.

Proficiency with Query Tools

Experience using one or more of the following tools for data exploration and validation:

• Toad
• DBeaver
• SQL Workbench
• Or similar database query tools

Job Execution & Scheduling Tools

Experience with job orchestration/scheduling tools such as:

• Autosys
• Redwood RunMyJobs

Including the ability to validate job dependencies and workflow sequencing.

Communication & Coordination Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with business SMEs, data engineers, and development teams to interpret requirements and ensure complete testing coverage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with upstream and downstream system teams to manage dependencies, identify issues, and drive timely resolution.
