Description
Our client seeks a Data Analyst to support consumer and social research projects from survey design through reporting. The role will develop questionnaires and interview guides, manage vendor deliverables, and conduct statistical analyses using SPSS or similar tools. The analyst will produce Excel and PowerPoint reports, ensure data quality, and synthesize secondary research to inform decision-making. The position collaborates with research leadership and peers to streamline processes and respond to ad hoc requests.

Rate: $32.00 to $35.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
- Develop and write small-scale surveys, screeners, and interview guides.
- Manage vendor deliverables by maintaining research files, performing quality checks, and tracking timelines.
- Conduct statistical analyses using SPSS and other analytic packages.
- Create reports and presentations, including charts and tables, using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Verify accuracy of data and assure the quality of research reports through cross-referencing.
- Compile, synthesize, and analyze secondary research from syndicated sources for internal sharing.
- Collaborate across the research team on ad hoc data requests and support fast-moving projects.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an applied research setting.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, SPSS or DisplayR, and Qualtrics.
- Experience synthesizing data into actionable insights for communications or business decision-making.
- Background in consumer and social research methodologies.
- Ability to operate effectively in a preferred hybrid setting in Washington, DC, or fully remote.
- Capability to provide a writing sample that demonstrates research communication.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in Social Science, Marketing Research, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred in Social Science, Marketing Research, or a related field.
