Job Description

A large healthcare insurance client is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with internal stakeholders to understand workflows, gather and document requirements, and translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation. The role involves guiding business owners through BRD creation, supporting front-end and IT teams with technical business flows, and contributing to data analysis and reporting. Strong communication is key, as roughly half of the role is stakeholder engagement, with the remaining time split between requirements gathering and analytical support.

Skills and Requirements

5-6+ years of Business Analyst experience in the healthcare insurance/payer space

-Strong understanding of business workflows and end-to-end process flows

Experience creating and documenting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

Ability to train and guide business owners on completing BRDs

Proven stakeholder communication skills

Experience supporting front-end teams and IT partners

Familiarity working in a hybrid Agile / Waterfall environment

Mid- to senior-level Business Analyst experience

Onshore resource with availability to work EST hours

Experience with:

Power BI

Lucidchart (for process flows)

Smartsheet SQL skills

Experience developing user stories when partnering closely with IT
