Position Overview
The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to support enrollment growth, brand awareness, and successful market expansion for Milestone Education’s schools. This role is responsible for driving both national brand consistency and localized marketing efforts, with a strong focus on digital performance, lead generation, and conversion optimization.
As a key contributor in a rapidly growing organization, the Director of Marketing will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on execution leveraging data, analytics, and market insights to inform decision‑making and deliver measurable results. This individual will play a critical role in launching new markets, strengthening community presence, and ensuring marketing initiatives directly support business and enrollment objectives.
Market Launch & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy for our schools
- Conduct market research to understand local demographics, competitors, and demand drivers
- Localize brand messaging to resonate with the target audience
Digital Marketing & Performance
- Own and optimize all digital channels including Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO strategy
- Manage paid media budgets and maximize ROI and CAC efficiency
- Oversee website performance, landing pages, and conversion optimization
Analytics & Reporting
- Leverage Google Analytics to track performance, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness
- Build dashboards and KPIs to measure: Lead generation, Conversion rates, Cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve outcomes
Brand & Content Strategy
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all channels
- Oversee content strategy including digital, social, and local campaigns
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align messaging with business objectives
Vendor Management
- Build and manage external agency partners
- Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations
- Manage relationships with media, vendors, and marketing platforms
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Proven experience launching or expanding into new markets (highly preferred)
- Strong background in digital performance marketing and demand generation
- Deep hands‑on experience with: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEO tools
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels, attribution models, and A/B testing
Skills & Competencies

Education

Work Environment
- Hybrid role with a combination of in‑office (New City, NY) and remote work
- Travel may be required during initial market launch phase
