About the role

About

Marketing Lead | Fully Remote | Early Stage Experiential Wellness Company

A high-growth, experience-led consumer wellness company creating joy-driven, movement-based experiences is seeking a strategic and hands‑on marketing leader to build and scale all marketing efforts. This role leads the entire marketing function for a fast‑growing, consumer‑focused startup, owning both strategy and hands‑on execution across digital channels to drive revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.

Reporting directly to the CEO/Founder, the position is responsible for building scalable marketing processes, mentoring a team, and turning brand awareness into repeat engagement and long‑term growth.

While this position is fully remote and hours are relatively flexible, the company has a preference for potential candidates to be based in Canada and comfortable working EST hours.

What You’ll Own & Build

  • Lead the end to end marketing strategy and execution across digital, lifecycle, and local channels to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Own email and lifecycle marketing, including building automated flows, segmentation strategies, and loyalty initiatives to increase repeat engagement
  • Oversee paid media, social, SEO, and website optimization to improve performance across the full customer funnel
  • Manage and mentor a cross‑functional marketing team, fostering development, accountability, and high performance
  • Build scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to support data‑driven decision making
  • Partner directly with the CEO/Founder and leadership team to align marketing initiatives with company growth objectives
  • Evaluate and optimize the mix of in‑house capabilities versus external agencies and vendors
  • Identify new growth opportunities, including local market activations and community‑building initiatives across multiple locations

What You Bring to the Table

  • 6 years of progressive marketing experience in a digital‑first or consumer‑oriented environment, 2 years in a leadership position
  • Track record of owning revenue‑driving initiatives and performance metrics
  • Experience managing and mentoring multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Strength in both strategic planning and hands‑on execution
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Comfort operating in a high‑growth, evolving organization

Work Environment

  • Fully remote, collaborative team structure
  • High‑visibility role with direct interaction with senior leadership
  • Fast‑paced, entrepreneurial culture with significant growth opportunity
  • Flexible scheduling within core business hours (on EST)

Compensation
