Main Purpose of Job

To lead the implementation management and optimisation of marketing technologies and platforms by driving data-driven marketing strategies ensuring seamless integration of marketing tools and optimising the effectiveness of digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection implementation and optimisation of marketing technologies (CRM automation analytics tools)
  • Execute the Martech strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure tools are effectively integrated into the marketing ecosystem
  • Manage the lifecycle of marketing technologies from selection to optimisation
  • Manage the collection and analysis of data across marketing channels
  • Implement processes for ensuring high-quality actionable marketing data
  • Develop reporting frameworks for campaign performance across platforms
  • Use advanced analytics to provide insights for campaign optimisation
  • Develop and manage the marketing technology budget
  • Ensure cost‑efficient utilisation of marketing platforms and tools
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and industry standards (e.g. POPIA, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Implement data governance frameworks to maintain data quality and integrity
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing technology specialists
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, IT and data teams
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance data and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimisation techniques to improve results
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining marketing processes

Required Education

Post‑Bachelors qualification with demonstration of continuous learning

Required Experience

8 years Martech experience including 3‑4 years management experience
