Our client is a well-established, growing organization with a 20+ person IT team supporting global operations across engineering, manufacturing, and project-based environments.
IT is structured across multiple specialized groups, including ERP/Business Systems, Analytics & Reporting, and IT Operations, with strong collaboration between IT and Finance. The organization offers a stable environment, modernizing systems, and a clear growth trajectory.
The Opportunity
This is an urgent hire for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer to support ongoing projects and system enhancements.
This role is heavily development-focused (not support-heavy), with a strong emphasis on X++ development within D365 F&O. You’ll play a key role in enhancing ERP functionality, supporting integrations, and driving system improvements—including continuing work on automation initiatives. This is a hybrid opportunity, 4 days in-office in Richmond. Be part of a collaborative IT team working closely with Finance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy D365 F&O solutions across the full application lifecycle
- Develop customizations and enhancements using X++ in Visual Studio
- Support integrations, data migrations, and ERP-related projects
- Lead and support D365 updates and deployments via Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Create and maintain reports within D365 F&O
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to improve business processes
- Provide technical support for complex system issues
- Maintain documentation and support user training where needed
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6 years of hands-on D365 F&O (or AX) development experience
- Strong experience with X++ development (must-have)
- Experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and cloud environment management
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and source control
- Experience with D365 workflows, reporting, and system configuration
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) is an asset
- Experience with Azure development is an asset
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $120,000
- Annual bonus potential
