Microsoft Exchange Engineer - Hybrid

For our client in Bern/Biel/Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Microsoft Exchange Engineer - Hybrid.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the conception, implementation, and operation of Microsoft 365 messaging environments, particularly in the area of Exchange Online. Together with internal and external partners, you will ensure that high-performance, secure, and user-friendly platforms are created that sustainably improve our customers' daily work.

Your Tasks:

• Planning, building, and managing Exchange Online environments and conducting migration projects from existing on-premises infrastructures.
• Technical conception and implementation of Microsoft 365 services with a focus on messaging and collaboration.
• Advising customers on best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements in the area of email and communication.
• Further development and automation of recurring processes through scripting (PowerShell, Graph API, or similar).
• Participation in Modern Workplace projects, e.g., integration of Teams Voice or SharePoint Online.
• Analysis and resolution of complex incidents (2nd/3rd level support).
• Creation and maintenance of system and process documentation.

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in the administration and further development of Microsoft Exchange (Online and On-Premises).
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, especially Exchange Online, hybrid setups, and Azure Active Directory.
• Proficient in using PowerShell to automate administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of adjacent M365 components such as Teams, OneDrive, Purview, or Defender for 365.
• Advantageous: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-203, MS-700).
• Independent, analytical, and service-oriented work style with a high quality standard.
• Fluent German and very good English skills.
