MuleSoft Solution Architect (with Salesforce Expertise)

ITMC Systems, Inc

India · On-site Full-time Senior Yesterday

About the role

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on MuleSoft Solution Architect to lead our integration strategy. In this client‑facing role, you won’t just design systems; you will be the trusted advisor who explains the “why” behind the “how.” You must be comfortable debating solutions with stakeholders, building Proof of Concepts (POCs) from scratch, and ensuring our developers maintain the highest code standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory: Act as the primary technical point of contact. Confidently present multiple architectural options, explaining the pros and cons of each to help clients choose the best path for their business.
  • End‑to‑End Design: Create robust integration architectures specifically focused on the MuleSoft‑to‑Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Hands‑on Execution: Build POCs to validate complex designs and set up platform infrastructure, including Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Maven, and Git.
  • Quality Governance: Conduct deep‑dive code reviews and debug complex issues alongside the development team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Security First: Implement secure authentication protocols, specifically OAuth 2.0 and JWT, across all API layers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Architectural Experience: Proven track record as a Solution/Integration Architect in a client‑facing capacity.
  • Primary Tech: Expert‑level MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric).
  • Secondary Tech: Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce (Clouds, APIs, and data models).
  • Patterns & Best Practices: Deep understanding of Integration Design Patterns and MuleSoft API‑led connectivity.
  • DevOps Mastery: Experience installing and managing CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
  • Security: Practical experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and JWT token‑based security.

Soft Skills

  • Consultative Mindset: Ability to handle “tough” questions from customers upfront.
  • Clarity: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into simple business value.
  • Leadership: A mentor who can roll up their sleeves to help developers fix a bug or optimize a flow.

Certifications

  • MuleSoft & Salesforce certified (mandatory)
