Network Enterprise Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Enterprise Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale network infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Strategy

• Lead the architectural design of secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions
• Develop network design alternatives including cloud connectivity, VPCs, segmentation, routing, and load balancing
• Collaborate with cloud architects and security teams to align network strategy with enterprise standards

Solution Design & Engineering

• Design and implement enterprise network architectures across hybrid and cloud environments
• Configure and optimize networking components to meet performance and availability requirements
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security policies and standards

Security & Compliance

• Design and implement network security controls and frameworks
• Ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements for sensitive data
• Apply best practices for secure network design in cloud and hybrid environments

Operations & Optimization

• Support performance monitoring and optimization of network infrastructure
• Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and reliability issues
• Ensure high availability and fault-tolerant network design

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
• Lead architecture reviews and present designs to stakeholders
• Participate in executive and project governance meetings

Documentation

• Produce and maintain high-quality network architecture documentation
• Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards and project requirements

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture roles, including 5+ years in enterprise-level design
• 3+ years of experience as lead architect in at least two major public cloud environments
• Experience leading at least 3 large-scale network architecture projects
• 4+ years of experience in network security and compliance
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
• Expert-level cloud networking certification
• Strong documentation skills (work samples required)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
