Network Monitoring System Engineer (Level 2)

Overview

We are looking for a Network Monitoring System Engineer (Level 2) to lead monitoring strategy, observability, and operational intelligence across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize network monitoring solutions
• Implement event correlation and root cause analysis strategies
• Improve NOC operations and alerting effectiveness
• Integrate monitoring tools with SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Develop monitoring standards and governance
• Enable predictive analytics and AIOps capabilities
• Mentor teams and improve operational maturity

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in monitoring/NOC/network engineering

• Experience with tools like:

  • VMware SMARTS
  • Broadcom NetOps
  • ScienceLogic SL1
  • IBM Netcool

• Strong knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, telemetry, syslog

Preferred Skills

• AIOps / Observability platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic)
• Python / automation
• Zero Trust and security monitoring
