About the role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and support of Oracle Financials ERP solutions. The candidate will provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and integration expertise across Oracle Financial modules and enterprise systems while collaborating with finance stakeholders and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and development for Oracle Financials ERP implementations and enhancements.
  • Provide architecture guidance and technical oversight for Oracle applications.
  • Mentor developers and conduct code reviews and technical quality checks.
  • Ensure best practices in coding standards, security, and performance optimization.

Oracle Financial Modules

Work on core Oracle Financial modules such as:

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Expense Management

These modules support enterprise financial processes and reporting.

Development & Integration

  • Develop customizations using PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, and Reports.
  • Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Design and maintain data interfaces and integration solutions with third-party systems.
  • Implement automation and improve enterprise financial processes.

Reporting & Data

  • Develop financial reports using:
    • BI Publisher
    • OTBI
    • Smart View
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting across systems.

Project Delivery

  • Participate in full lifecycle implementation:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Design
    • Development
    • Testing
    • Deployment
    • Post-production support
  • Work with Agile teams and participate in sprint planning and technical documentation.

Required Skills/Technical Skills

  • Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
  • SQL / PL-SQL
  • Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion / Oracle EBS R12
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • REST / SOAP APIs
  • BI Publisher / OTBI Reporting
  • Data migration tools (FBDI, ADFdi, HDL)

Leadership Skills

  • Technical architecture design

Experience Requirements

  • 8 12+ years of IT experience
  • 7+ years working with Oracle Financials
  • Experience leading Oracle ERP implementations
  • Strong understanding of finance business processes

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred:

  • Oracle Cloud / ERP Certifications

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Knowledge of financial reporting & accounting processes
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum development
