Grant Thornton is excited to announce an opening for an Oracle Recruiting HRIS Senior Specialist to join our dynamic internal HRIS team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong Oracle HCM Cloud expertise, especially in the Recruiting (ORC) and Core HR modules. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting recruitment solutions that align with our business processes. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to effectively meet recruitment needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze recruitment requirements.
- Enhance existing configurations and implement new functionalities in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), including job requisitions and candidate management.
- Contribute to configuring Core HR functionalities related to Pending Worker, Onboarding, Hiring, and Security.
- Lead workshops to translate business needs into functional specifications for system configurations.
- Define and configure recruitment templates, approval hierarchies, and security roles.
- Utilize Redwood UX for enhancing user experience and configuring Recruiting Analytics/OTBI Reports.
- Evaluate potential Recruiting Booster capabilities to meet business requirements.
- Support testing phases including SIT and UAT, as well as post‑implementation support.
- Assist with data extracts, integrations (OIC), and HDL/HSDL uploads.
- Prepare comprehensive functional documentation and training materials.
- Provide ongoing support and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- 3‑5 years of practical experience in Oracle Recruiting and Oracle Core HR.
- Experience with Journeys, Self‑Service (MSS/ESS), and Redwood/VB UX configuration.
- Experience working on multi‑country ORC implementations.
- Familiar with Fast Formulas, HDL/HSDL, and data migration processes.
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
- Project management experience is highly appreciated.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Certifications in Recruiting/HR and Core HR.
- Capability to influence and coach team members.
- Exposure to AI Agents will be an advantage.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position in Grant Thornton's Chicago, IL; Downers Grove, IL; Denver, CO; Reno, NV; Cleveland, OH; and Baltimore, MD offices is between $76,000 and $114,000 per year.
