Accountant

Your new role

A part‑qualified or newly qualified Accountant, reporting to and working closely with the owner of a well‑established accounting practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of company accounts (non‑audit), as well as sole trader and partnership accounts, from source documentation through to final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns and PAYE/PRSI returns, including reviewing figures, reconciling balances, and ensuring compliance with Revenue deadlines and requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2+ years' accounting practice experience
• Experience preparing accounts & VAT returns
• Understanding of VAT submission to revenue
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA part-qualified
• Strong written & verbal communication
