Platform Engineer (w/m/d) – Architektur & Security

Your Mission and Your Tasks:

As part of the team, you will contribute to building and further developing a secure and consistent IT platform that serves as a reliable foundation for applications and innovation.

• Conceptual further development of the hybrid IT platform (on-premise & cloud).
• Design of a modular, scalable, and low-maintenance platform architecture.
• Anchoring of Security-by-Design principles in architecture and operation.
• Further development of technical architecture and security standards.
• Holistic thinking in platform modules, interfaces, and guardrails.
• Evaluation of new technologies regarding security, platform suitability, and sustainability.
• Promotion of automatable solutions (Infrastructure & Configuration as Code).
• Close collaboration with operations, architecture, and development teams.

What You Should Bring:

• Several years of experience in platform, system, or architecture engineering
• Very good understanding of platform architectures and security in hybrid environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architectures and their security
• Experience with Identity & Access Management and infrastructure security
• Understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of collaboration, clear standards, and sustainable solutions
• Very good German and good English skills (Level C1)
