Power BI Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced individual to join us as a Power BI Analyst to own, develop, and operate our Power BI reporting environment. The role is responsible for data from internal and external sources (including newly acquired companies), data quality, maintaining the model and data warehouse, and delivering high-quality dashboards and insights to finance, commercial, and executive teams. The role sits within the FP&A function but works cross-functionally with finance, IT, commercial teams, and external consultants. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, creating structure, and building sustainable processes in a growing, multi-entity business.

Responsibilities

Power BI & Reporting Ownership

• Responsibility for the entire Power BI environment, including models, dashboards, and reports
• Design, build, and maintain KPI dashboards for finance, commercial, and executive teams
• Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly reports and analytical insights
• Ensure consistency of metrics, definitions, and reporting logic across the model and data warehouse
• Lead data integration from various systems into the Power BI model and data warehouse
• Support the onboarding and integration phase of newly acquired companies into the reporting environment
• Collaborate closely with IT and other departments to map data sources, define structures, and improve data quality
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, implementing controls and checks as needed
• Support the definition and documentation of definitions, reporting standards, and processes
• Establish robust, scalable processes for data refresh, maintenance, and reporting

Business Partnering & Communication

• Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders from finance, commercial, and executive teams
• Clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with external consultants and vendors supporting BI or system projects
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, and provide insights to support decision-making

Project Management

• Manage multiple projects and reporting tasks in parallel, including implementation and improvement projects
• Plan and track timelines, priorities, and dependencies to ensure delivery against agreed milestones
• Lead regular meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers, and collaborate effectively with relevant teams to resolve

Skills & Experience

Required

• Strong, hands-on experience with Power BI (report development, modeling, DAX, Power Query)
• Proven experience working with large datasets from various sources and mapping them across different systems
• Solid understanding of data quality and governance processes
• Ability to take ownership of end-to-end reporting processes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
• Organized, structured, and process-oriented approach to work
• Experience supporting finance, FP&A, or performance management teams
• Fluency in English, French/German is a bonus

Desired

• Experience working with or alongside a data warehouse
• Experience in healthcare or life sciences is a plus
• Experience supporting finance, FP&A, or performance management teams
• Proficiency in SQL or similar query languages
• Experience working in multi-entity, high acquisition rate, or fast-growing companies
• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
