Financial Analyst

A key client of ours in the Defense Technology space is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their corporate FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial planning activities
• Prepare recurring financial reports and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership
• Maintain and update financial models, spreadsheets, and dashboards
• Analyze revenue, expenses, labor utilization, and other key business metrics
• Partner with accounting and operations teams to gather financial data and reporting inputs
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
• Help improve reporting processes and data accuracy
• Support pricing and proposal analysis for government contracts as needed
• Perform other finance and analytical duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2-5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
• Experience within a government contracting, aerospace, or defense environment preferred
• Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
