About the role
Responsibilities
- He should maintain strong technical knowledge on HPE Server/Storage solutions, HPE Synergy, VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Microsoft, Virtualization and Backup Technologies like Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Acronis etc.
- Validate and quantify customer challenges and business drivers, confirm HPE’s, Backup and DR technical viability for the opportunity, understand the customer alternatives (vendor competitors, internal alternatives…) being considered including the current means of handling their requirements. The candidate will use their professional skills and experience to work closely with the customer to determine the right technology solution for their business and help drive the sale at all levels.
- The candidate will be responsible to analyze customer requirements, develop & demonstrate solutions, produce high quality Presentations and provide input to Sales/service team that directly contribute to the growth of the company sales and image.
- Familiarized in using enterprise sizing tools from HPE, VMware, Lenovo etc.
- Work closely with sales team to identify/create new opportunities or formulate strategies on key accounts.
- Take ownership of technical sales for creating solutions for customers.
- Work independently to make proposals, responses to RFPs, be able to conduct proof of concepts, make presentations to customers and be able to support field engineers for advanced troubleshooting
