This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of distributed ledger technologies, smart contract development, and decentralized application (dApp) architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure blockchain solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business applications. This is a remote-first position, emphasizing collaboration and impact across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade blockchain solutions, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Lead the development of smart contracts and decentralized applications on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana).
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain technologies and protocols based on project requirements.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for blockchain initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of blockchain networks and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct proof-of-concept projects to explore new blockchain use cases and technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and deployment guides.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, research, and developments in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices and standards for blockchain development within the organization.
• Engage with the broader blockchain community to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in software architecture and development, with a significant focus (5+ years) on blockchain technology.
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in smart contract languages such as Solidity, Vyper, or similar.
• Experience with major blockchain platforms and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of dApp development patterns and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive project success in a remote environment.
