Principal Implementation Engineer-Professional Services
CareerXperts Consulting
About the role
We sit at the nerve center of global commerce — the invisible infrastructure that lets enterprises exchange billions of dollars in transactions with their partners every day. Our platform moves critical business data across industries, borders, and systems. When we do our job well, nobody notices. When something goes wrong, entire supply chains feel it.
We're looking for a Principal Implementation Engineer who thrives at the intersection of deep technical craft and customer-facing consulting. This is not an execution role. This is an architecture role — someone who shapes how some of the world's most complex enterprises integrate their ecosystems.
What you'll own • Lead end-to-end implementation for enterprise customers — from requirements discovery to go-live and beyond • Design cloud integration architectures that scale to high-volume, high-stakes production environments • Build and own EDI maps, business process orchestrations, and communication setups with trading partners (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS) • Drive performance testing, root-cause analysis, and fine-tuning for customers where throughput is mission-critical • Own the full testing lifecycle — unit, SIT, UAT — and serve as the escalation point when complex issues arise • Create transition documentation, go-live plans, and warranty support frameworks that set customers up for long-term success • Run multiple concurrent projects without dropping a thread — context-switching is a core competency here
The profile we're looking for • 10+ years of hands-on experience with EDI integration platforms — you've lived in these systems, not just read about them • Deep fluency in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards; you can read a transaction set the way others read plain English • Solid command of XML, flat files, REST APIs, and SQL — the full data-handling stack • Experience designing integrations that don't just work — they perform under pressure • A consulting mindset: you translate business ambiguity into precise technical solutions • Someone who feels a genuine sense of ownership over customer outcomes — and doesn't let go until it's right
If you've spent a decade building the kind of integrations that quietly keep supply chains, retail operations, or logistics networks running — and you're ready to do that work at real scale, with real autonomy — we'd like to talk. Write to to get connected
