Duties

  • Own the technical relationship between Databricks and Qlik in managing critical requirements of the partnership.
  • Align the Qlik product roadmap with Databricks to create differentiated joint solutions and offerings, and articulate joint vision.
  • Deliver compelling technical enablement sessions to business and technical audiences including partner architects, to our technical alliances and regional/global system integrators.
  • Create technical content (demos, whitepapers, solution briefs, blog posts), which demonstrate thought leadership and showcase solution value.
  • Develop reference architectures, technical diagrams, and reusable patterns which showcase integrated use cases.
  • Work closely with Qlik product and engineering teams to provide field feedback.
  • Drive adoption by promoting awareness of the joint value proposition with extended technology partners such as AWS and Snowflake.
  • Support customer opportunities by assisting in proof of concepts.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing in delivering webinars, conference assets (speaking sessions and demos), and other collateral.
  • Deliver hands‑on technical product enablement and workshops to large audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in each of the following as Solution Architect, Presales Engineering, or related role:
    1. Designing and implementing integrated data and analytics solutions with technology partners such as Databricks, including demonstrations, joint reference architectures, and external collateral;
    2. Data integration and replication tools such as Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, or Qlik Cloud Data Integration (QCDI);
    3. Hands‑on development of applications and dashboards with QlikView and Qlik Sense, and Python to facilitate technical demonstrations;
    4. Designing database deployments such as traditional, relational, NoSQL document stores, or graph‑based stores;
    5. Leading presales cycles with Qlik Data Catalog in building glossaries, showing data usage analysis, and demonstrating lineage capabilities, including use of Korn Ferry sales methodologies for opportunity discovery and qualification;
    6. Project management of joint solution development, including planning, collaboration & coordination between cross‑functional teams, timeline management, and risk management.
  • At least 1 certification each in Qlik Data Analytics and Qlik Data Integration.
