Job Overview

• Seeking a Principal Data Security Architect to lead enterprise data protection strategy across cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms.
• This role combines Microsoft data security stack (Purview, DLP, Defender) with AI/LLM data security and data engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise data protection strategy (structured & unstructured data)
• Lead Microsoft Purview, DLP, and data classification initiatives
• Secure AI data pipelines (LLMs, RAG, vector databases)
• Design data lifecycle management, retention, and legacy data remediation
• Implement DLP controls across M365, endpoints, and cloud platforms
• Develop DSPM strategy, risk frameworks, and incident response playbooks
• Collaborate with Security, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Data Security Architecture.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview, DLP, Defender.
• Experience with data engineering environments (Azure, Synapse, Snowflake, etc.).
• Exposure to AI/LLM security, RAG, vector databases.
• Knowledge of encryption, data classification, and governance frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated industries (NERC, SOX, GDPR, CCPA).
• Familiarity with DSPM tools.
• Certifications: CISSP, GIAC, Azure Security.
