A vacancy for a Product Architect for NC and Quality Data Management (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, France. You will join the DEQN organization, specifically within the Quality Product & Service Line (QPSL) organization.

Mission and Activities:
The Quality Product & Service Line (QPSL) organization is responsible for delivering digital solutions for the Quality function, encompassing the design, development, and run mode for all "non-conformance" and "quality data & analytics" digital solutions. This scope extends to other Airbus divisions and partners in some cases.
As the Product Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction for future IT Products & Services within the NC and Quality data management domain. You will be instrumental in validating product designs and ensuring the alignment of architectural strategy with business goals and long-term strategic planning for the organization's Information Systems. You will be involved in major transformation initiatives: Move to S/4 Hana, extensibility pattern definition, decommissioning, landscape simplification.
This role may involve some travel for business.
Task & Accountabilities:
Your main activities will include:
- Acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validating product designs.
- Collaborating with other Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting-edge technologies.
- Defining models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions.
- Participating in all phases of the application development life cycle, including research and design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Aligning architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long-term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems.
- Performing the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of new solutions according to defined functional design.
- Providing expertise on Business processes and change management.
- Contributing to innovative ideas and the continuous improvement of service.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in IT Solution Architecture or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts, solution patterns, and design principles.
- Experience with SAP technologies, particularly in the context of Quality Management (QM) and data management and S/4 Hana.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
- Experience in data management architecture and an understanding of the QPSL landscape (SAP + Skywise).
- Ability to define the most appropriate technical framework to support business needs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to represent Quality PSL towards other functions and ensure timely and quality deliveries.
- Capacity to challenge requirements and prioritize backlog items.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to translate abstract concepts into well-documented, actionable solutions.
- Good English language skills.
