Most engineering roles ask you to maintain what exists. This one asks you to build what doesn’t exist yet.

Product Incubation takes product ideas from first principles to shipped software. We’re a founding team inside a larger organisation: the backing and distribution of an established business, without the bureaucracy that kills velocity. We use agentic engineering as a core multiplier. Multi-agent orchestration, spec-driven workflows, and context engineering are how we work every day.

How We Work

We treat AI-assisted and agentic engineering as a core competence, not an experiment. Our development process involves multi-agent orchestration, spec-driven agent workflows, and context engineering at every level. We expect you to already be fluent in this world, or to be the kind of person who gets fluent in weeks, not months.

This means you’ll need to hold two things in your head at once: the big-picture product vision (why are we building this, and for whom?) and the implementation detail (how does this data model survive at scale, and what does the agent need in its context window to get this right?). The gap between those two altitudes is where we live.

What You’ll Do

• Own problems end-to-end. From product discovery through architecture, implementation, and deployment.
• Ship across the full stack. Whatever the problem demands. We hire for engineering judgement, not a single technology.
• Accelerate through agentic engineering. Design and orchestrate AI-assisted workflows. Build with agents, build for agents, and know when to take the wheel.
• Make decisions with business context. Technology choices serve the product. You evaluate trade-offs and defend or abandon them based on evidence.
• Raise the bar. Through code quality, thoughtful specs, honest feedback, and work that teaches by example.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ability to ship production software across multiple technology stacks. You’re defined by your engineering judgement, not a single language or framework.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI engineering tools and workflows (Claude Code, Codex, or similar). If you’ve spent serious time with these tools and you’ve developed an informed opinion about how to get the best out of them, that’s what we want.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable, cloud-native software with real production workloads.
• Product development experience. You’ve helped build a product from concept to market, not just executed tickets.
• Comfort across the full stack. Depth in one area is valuable; breadth across several is better for this role.

Qualifications

What you’ve built matters more than what’s on your CV.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Specialist: 10+ years building production software. Senior: 7+ years with technical leadership in product teams.
• Experience across at least 2–3 meaningfully different technology stacks.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with real production workloads, not just certifications.
• Active, ongoing engagement with AI-assisted engineering tools. Workflows, opinions, and muscle memory.
