About

We are in search for suitable team lead who is in to automotive parts development. Experienced into vehicle parts development for both aesthetic & utility products will be an ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Development team to finalize product ideas.
• Check product installation feasibility and prepare design of the product accordingly.
• Convert Images or Sketches or Drawings to 3D model.
• Create 3D model based on the scan data (Meshfile / STLFile).
• Convert 3D simulation to Actual Engineered Product including A surface & B surface creation.
• Create detailed 2D Drawings as per Automotive industry standards and customer requirements.
• Define Product Material of each kit components.
• Prepare Installation Manual of the products.
• Justify the design performance with the help of CAD tools. For e.g. FEA Analysis

Skills

• Understanding of Automotive Interior and Exterior Parts Engineering and installation. (example – Bumpers, interior trim panels, lighting etc.)
• Understanding of Automotive Standards and Regulations for designing genuine vehicle components
• Able to do Reverse Engineering from Scan data or physical part. (Mesh to CAD / STL to STP or IGES).
• Knowledge of materials (Plastics and Metal) and its manufacturing processes.
• Able to predict expected failures in production or on‑field and manage to make changes during design phase.

Qualification

Diploma/BE – Automotive/Mechanical

Must

• Proficient in 3D CAD Softwares Ex‑AutoCAD / SOLIDWORKS / RHINO / NX / CATIA.
• Product DFMEA
