Product Manager – Cloud & Policy (Banking / Code Modernization)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives at the intersection of banking, cloud platforms, and policy-driven code modernization. This role will work closely with a leading financial institution to define, govern, and execute policies for code transformation and cloud adoption across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.

You will act as the bridge between business, engineering, compliance, and cloud providers driving product vision, regulatory alignment, and scalable implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for policy-driven code modernization initiatives within a banking environment
• Define and manage product strategy, roadmap, and delivery aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Partner with banking stakeholders to translate policy, risk, and governance requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement policy-as-code frameworks and automated governance controls
• Ensure alignment with financial industry standards (e.g., security, audit, data residency, risk controls)
• Act as the primary liaison between cloud providers (Google, Microsoft) and internal banking teams
• Define KPIs and success metrics for product adoption, compliance adherence, and operational efficiency
• Manage backlog, prioritize features, and lead agile ceremonies across cross-functional teams
• Communicate product vision, updates, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and executive leadership

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in financial services or regulated industries
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP and/or Azure)
• Experience working with banking, financial institutions, or regulatory environments
• Knowledge of policy-as-code, governance frameworks, and compliance standards
• Proven ability to translate complex policy or regulatory requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working with engineering teams on large-scale transformation or modernization programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tools such as Terraform, Open Policy Agent (OPA), or similar governance frameworks
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, or regional banking regulations)
• Experience working directly with Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure ecosystems
• MBA or equivalent business/technical background
