In addition to our inkjet printers, which impress with their technical advantages, digital products and services also play a central role in our customers' purchasing decisions. These include automation and control software, cloud services, remote service tools, layout tools, desktop applications or apps, driver adjustments, (ERP) plugins, data acquisition for predictive maintenance, digital implementation of new business models, or the conception of holistic, cross-functional platforms for customer information, support, and sales.

Product Manager (m/f/d) Digital Products & Services

Responsibilities

• Take product responsibility for digital products and services in the field of industrial inkjet printers
• Analyze customer needs in various industries and evaluate market potentials and competitor products
• Create foundations and strategies for the development and market launch of digital products and services
• Define and implement the product strategy, including the development of innovative solutions and use cases
• Coordinate and further develop a holistic digital platform (e.g., webpage, partner portal, e-learning, knowledge base)
• Define requirements for new developments and monitor target achievement using KPIs
• Support the integration of printers into customer environments (e.g., ERP systems, cloud services, OEM connections)
• Accompany the entire product lifecycle from development through market launch to establishment and continuous further development
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and cross-departmental teams
• Analyze and adapt new technologies and trends for the further development of the digital product landscape
• Support business models for digital products

Profile

• Completed degree or technical training in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, industrial engineering, automation technology) or a business degree with a technical focus
• Proven experience in managing digital products and business models
• Knowledge of the industrial production environment and understanding of production facilities and their operator requirements
• Business acumen and understanding of commercial objectives
• IT affinity at the level of a power user, supplemented by basic knowledge of databases, interfaces, programming, and networks
• Innovation-oriented mindset with an overview of current technology trends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, both internally and externally
• Methodical, structured, and analytical way of working, as well as an independent work style
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10–20%)
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
