🎯 About The Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager, Credit Building to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager of Credit, you’ll be part of a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team that drives the core of KOHO's credit product strategy. This role will own the roadmap and execution for our suite of credit building products, which include Credit Building, Secured Credit Building, Rent Reporting, Credit Score, and Credit Report.

🚧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for the Credit Building portfolio—from drafting initial PRDs to coordinating STO and managing the rollout.
  • Closely monitor product metrics and analyze data to maximize user acquisition, retention, reduce delinquency, and unlock incremental GP for KOHO.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver seamless user experiences that help Canadians transparently build their credit scores.
  • Act as the central hub for cross‑functional alignment, ensuring stakeholders across credit risk, compliance, and marketing are actively engaged and informed on product decisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our adjudication models and credit policies to continuously refine the product offering and scale our impact.

🧩 Who You Are

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally within fintech, consumer credit, or lending.
  • Highly analytical and data‑informed; comfortable diving into SQL, dbt, or Redshift to pull data and confidently building business cases around financial metrics.
  • Strong track record of execution and delivery; able to meticulously structure complex projects and break them down into actionable steps for your team.
  • Understanding of credit risk and financial compliance (e.g., OSFI, Equifax), or highly motivated to learn the intricacies of the Canadian credit ecosystem.
  • Proactive communicator who drives alignment, frequently loops in relevant stakeholders, and leads with a collaborative, team‑first mindset.

Salary & Compensation

The budgeted salary range for this role is $130,000 – $200,000 CAD per year.

Ce rôle sera responsable de la feuille de route et de l’exécution de notre gamme de produits de développement du crédit, incluant Crédit de construction, Crédit garanti, Déclaration de loyer, Pointage de crédit et Rapport de crédit.

🚧 Ce que vous ferez

  • Piloter l’ensemble du cycle de vie produit pour le portefeuille de développement du crédit — de la rédaction des PRD initiaux à la coordination du STO et à la gestion des lancements.
  • Suivre de près les métriques produit et analyser les données afin d’optimiser l’acquisition et la rétention des utilisateurs, réduire la délinquance et générer une croissance du revenu brut (GP) pour KOHO.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de design et de données afin de livrer des expériences utilisateur fluides permettant aux Canadiens de bâtir leur cote de crédit de manière transparente.

🧩 Ce que vous apportez

  • Plus de 3 ans d’expérience en gestion de produit, idéalement dans les secteurs fintech, crédit à la consommation ou prêts.
  • Très analytique et orienté(e) données, à l’aise avec SQL, dbt ou Redshift pour extraire et analyser des données, et capable de bâtir des business cases solides basés sur des indicateurs financiers.
  • Excellent sens de l’exécution et de la livraison, avec une capacité à structurer des projets complexes et à les découper en étapes concrètes et actionnables.
  • Bonne compréhension du risque de crédit et de la conformité financière (ex. : OSFI, Equifax), ou forte volonté d’apprendre les particularités de l’écosystème de crédit canadien.
  • Communicateur(trice) proactif(ve) qui favorise l’alignement, implique les bonnes parties prenantes au bon moment et adopte une approche collaborative axée sur l’équipe.
