Take on the role of Product Manager - Virtual/Digital SATCOM Solutions (m/f/d) where your vision drives innovation in space, ground station, and cloud – changing the way the world connects, communicates, and collaborates.

WORK Microwave's DIFI-based, virtual SATCOM solutions include advanced digitizers, channelizers, software-defined modems, and network management systems, utilizing sophisticated signal processing and high-performance Ethernet connectivity to enable the digital transformation of ground stations.

What awaits you in this role

• Definition and implementation of the product roadmap for virtual satellite communication products based on DIFI in coordination with business goals and market needs
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (development, sales, marketing, operations) to ensure product success from concept to market launch
• Conduct market analysis and customer surveys to identify innovation and improvement potential
• Capture, analyze, and document technical and functional requirements for our virtual SATCOM products in collaboration with customers
• Maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog to meet stakeholder expectations
• Lead key stakeholder reviews, presenting project status, risks, and ROI recommendations to make go/no-go decisions
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction after market launch

What you bring to be successful in this role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, ideally in satellite communications or similar industries
• In-depth knowledge of satellite communication technologies, standards, and market trends
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Experience in managing technical requirements and collaborating with suppliers
• Knowledge of the VITA 49.2-based DIFI protocol and IP networks is desirable
• Experience with RF systems, modems, ground stations, or satellite payloads is desirable
• Willingness for national and international travel
• Good English and German language skills (an advantage)
