For our new product line of Autonomous Navigation and Mission Systems, we are looking for you for our Management Synapsis Solution (MSS) department as a Product Manager (m/f/d) for autonomous solutions & products in the military environment.
Responsibilities
- Market and requirements analysis of the military shipping market regarding procurement programs, developments, and trends in autonomous navigation.
- Develop market access strategies for new systems and modernization packages tailored to the dynamics of military shipping and support the sales team in creating offers, tenders, and presentations.
- Work closely with sales, product management, development, and marketing to align product development with market needs and ensure successful marketing of new products/solutions.
- Ensure that requirements are incorporated into product roadmaps early on and hold technical workshops to refine concepts and offers.
- Promote competitive positioning and win strategies in procurement programs and translate technical features into value propositions for decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key stakeholders in the military shipping industry, including navies, defense ministries, shipyards, and integrators, and represent Anschütz at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs to promote our innovations and strengthen our market presence.
Profile
- Completed studies in engineering, business, nautical science, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in the military environment, ideally in product management, sales, or program management, with sound knowledge of military structures, procurement logic, and operational requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a convincing demeanor when interacting with decision-makers from the military and industry.
- Willingness to travel internationally and readiness to work in regulated, security-relevant environments.
- Experience in collaborating with international defense customers and in complex project environments.
