V-ZUG Software Engineering ist ein Bereich innerhalb des Technology Departments. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Innovationsentwicklung, dem Produktmanagement, der IT, der Produktion und weiteren Abteilungen sind wir verantwortlich für die Software unserer Haushaltgeräte im Küchen- und Textilbereich. Darüber hinaus gestalten wir die digitalen Kanäle wie die V-ZUG Home App, die V-ZUG Diagnose App, sowie unsere IoT-Plattform, über die externe Partner in unser Ökosystem integriert werden. Als Software-Team begleiten wir unsere Produkte über den gesamten Lebenszyklus – von der ersten Idee bis zum Betrieb.

What this role offers

• You don't just accept requirements – you actively shape them. Together with our stakeholders, you define the business logic, align it with the system architecture, and ensure clean coordination with UI and BSP.
• Software design is more than documentation for you. Using methods like UML, you develop clear, efficient designs and ensure that business logic, UI, and BSP work together smoothly.
• Whether C/C++ or model-based development – you advance our device software. You develop both the embedded software and the associated configuration software.
• Tests are a central part of our development. Together with application engineering and electronics, you validate the business logic and interfaces – supported by PC simulations and automated test scripts.
• You will be part of an agile team working according to SAFe or Scrum, growing together to continuously improve processes, collaboration, and quality.

What you bring to the role

• You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable technical field and several years of professional experience in software development.
• For the development of our embedded software, you have very good knowledge of C/C++ and use it confidently to implement complex functions performantly and reliably.
• You have sound experience in software development – from the conception of new applications and continuous further development to the sustainable maintenance and optimization of existing systems.
• Modern technologies pique your interest, and you are motivated to learn new topics and integrate them into our system landscape.
• A results-oriented approach, high quality standards, and strong implementation skills characterize you.
• You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
